Steel Comfort Sport Horseshoes
Royal Kerckhaert Steel Comfort Sport Horseshoes are designed for horses in regular work, training and competition where reliable hoof protection and professional shoe fitting are required. Manufactured by Royal Kerckhaert, these steel horseshoes form part of the brand’s specialist shoe range for farriers working with active sport and performance horses.
A correctly selected and fitted horseshoe helps protect the hoof from excessive wear while supporting the horse’s individual shoeing plan. Steel remains a trusted material for farriers because it is strong, durable and can be professionally adjusted during fitting. The Steel Comfort Sport design gives qualified farriers a practical option when assessing horses that work across changing surfaces, including arena footing, grass, compacted tracks, roads and farm environments.
Steel Comfort Sport Horseshoes should be chosen as part of an individual farriery assessment. Before fitting, the farrier should trim and balance the hoof appropriately, select the correct size and side, then adjust the shoe as needed to achieve a secure, balanced fit. Correct nail placement and finishing are equally important to the comfort and function of the completed shoeing job.
These horseshoes are suited to professional farriers, equestrian facilities, training yards, breeding farms and horse owners who work closely with a qualified farrier. They are intended for professional fitting and should not be applied, reshaped or modified by untrained users.
Keep horseshoes stored in a clean, dry area and organise stock by size and side to support efficient selection during appointments. A regular farrier schedule, tailored to the horse’s growth rate and work level, remains essential for maintaining hoof balance and shoe integrity.
